Meet the Team

Involvement Ambassadors are made up of current UConn students, just like you! They come from a variety of leadership backgrounds and are here to assist every organization in their pursuit for success. Some of their roles include:

  • Facilitating SOLID Workshops
  • Reviewing New Organization and Constitution submissions
  • Meeting with student leaders to help with any questions
  • and more!

John Durham

John

John Durham (Class of 2024) is studying Political Science with a minor in Crime and Justice.

He currently serves as the President for the Veteran Student Organization and for the UConn Conn-Men. He also serves as a team leader for the Army National Guard.

Hobbies: Golf & Music

Favorite thing about UConn: The California Gooey

Kristiane Ohlhorst

Kristiane

Kristiane Ohlhorst (Class of 2024) is studying Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics.

She currently is part of the Honors Program, and has been part of the H20 Learning Community. She has also been the Vice President of Tap Club and the past treasurer of the University Ballet Company.

Hobbies: Art, Music, & Reading

Victoria Marchetti

Victoria Marchetti

Victoria Marchetti (Class of 2023) is studying Finance with a minor in English.

She currently is the Vice President of Finance for the Student Union Board of Governors (SUBOG), and she previously served as the Major Weekends Chair where she coordinated UConn events such as Homecoming and One Ton Sundae. She also is a member of Women in Business.

Hobbies: Watching classic films & Photography

Favorite thing about UConn: The many different events to attend and learn about.

Fun Fact: "I am an Open Water certified SCUBA diver!"

Diya Sajnani

Diya Sajnani

Diya Sajnani (Class of 2024) is studying Economics with a minor in Public Policy.

She has served as an Academic Achievement Center Master Coach and has completed the UConn self-defense class.

Hobbies: Reading & Drinking coffee

Elizabeth Bowling

Elizabeth Bowling

Elizabeth Bowling (Class of 2023) is a graduate student pursuing a MSW in Social Work with a concentration in Individuals, Groups & Families.

She received her bachelor's degree from UConn in 2013 in Journalism & International Studies. During her undergrad, she was a member of the UConn Climbing Team and a Reporter & Layout Designer for the Daily Campus. She also played lots of intramural sports, too!

Hobbies: Outside Adventures, Writing, Rock climbing, Biking, Canoeing, Kayaking, Yoga, Longboarding, & Being with the people she loves.

Favorite thing about UConn: It is paying for her tuition.

Fun Fact: "I ride a 1982 Yamaha Virago motorcycle."
